By now, anyone who follows the Duggar Family is aware that their 19th child was born recently. Little Josie Duggar was born on December 10, 2009 at just 25 weeks gestation and weighing only 1 lb 6 oz. Josie was recently discharged from the NICU, only to be readmitted days later. Much of Josie’s struggles have aired on the Duggars show 19 Kids and Counting. This is bringing awareness to the issues of prematurity and for that, we thank the Duggar family. Love them or not, they are raising prematurity awareness and awareness is key!
